Get a gift for a friend or yourself at the Athenaeum's Annual Holiday Bookstore in the La Jolla Art Studio! As usual, we will have a large selection of gently used books, CDs, vinyl LPs, and sheet music. Find a great gift for yourself or a friend! The number of shoppers will be limited according to guidelines. Masks and physical distancing are recommended.

DONATING BOOKS
The Athenaeum accepts donations of gently used—or new—books of most genres, as well as CDs, DVDs, and jazz LPs, to be sold at our quarterly book sales. (A smaller selection is available during library hours year-round.) We do not accept donations of periodicals, text books, VHS, or non-jazz LPs. Any soiled or damaged books will not be accepted. We are also searching for more volunteers to help sort and price books and work the sales. Donations are taken on Tuesdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. (or on other days by special arrangement). Please call before coming to ensure we have space to take your donation. We appreciate donations of ten or more books to be delivered in bags or boxes.
