1977 Nobel Laureate Roger Guillemin, a founding member of the Salk Institute, is considered the founder of the field of neuroendocrinology. He began using the computer as an artistic tool in the late 1980s and now is producing digital ink-jet prints. On display are fifteen of his abstract prints in bright colors with broad strokes and pulsating lines. His son François Guillemin, known as le Corbeau (The Crow), describes metal as “the binding thread” of his own work. Here he presents five allegorical sculptures, four in bronze, one in iron.
