Sculptural relief combines the dimensionality of sculpture with the compositional demands of drawing to create an exciting artistic challenge. In this course we will work from a model in order to study the way a portrait can be compressed from full dimensionality into low- and mid-relief.

Materials: Clay and boards included with the materials fee paid to instructor on first day of class.
