Art Under Pressure 2002: Prints by San Diego Artists

This was the first exhibition at the Athenaeum devoted solely to the art of print and was a survey of the state of printmaking in San Diego. Exhibiting artists were: Juanita Aguilar, Michele Burgess, Merryl Berner Cicourel, Nathaniel Clark, Kirsten Francis, Bill Kelly, Yoni Laos, Evelyn LaRosa, Jacque Ingle Lynn, Jim Machacek, Nelle Martin, Oldrich Prochazka, James Renner, Ying Wang and the late Harry Sternberg. Exhibited printmaking techniques included intaglio, woodcut, monoprint, etching and more.
