Clothed and Unclothed: New and Old Works by Peter Dreher
April 5–May 17, 2003
German artist Peter Dreher exhibited some of his series of water glass paintings (from the series Tag um Tag ist Guter Tag), along with life-sized nude paintings. Both series qualify as his “old” works. In 2002, he visited the Athenaeum and photographed feet of staff members, board members, faculty, students and passers-by; 15 of which became watercolor paintings, displayed here as his “new” works.
