A Tribute to Mafalda Hicks

Mafalda Hicks, our highly talented in-house gala sculptor, has created over twenty-five styrofoam sculptures for our eighteen annual galas. These were displayed throughout the Athenaeum for a week in tribute to her skill and devotion to the Athenaeum. The reception was a wonderful evening, attended by many friends, locals and members of the gala committee as well as most of her large family.
