Selected Works, 1910–1915
September 24–November 5, 2016
In conjunction with the multi-site exhibition Irving Gill: New Architecture for a Great Country, the work of Alfosnso and Margaret Iannelli was presented in the Athenaeum Music & Arts Library’s North Reading Room. Original letters, drawings and prints, as well as sculpture were displayed.
Both Margaret and Alfonso Iannelli were an important part of the flourishing creative community in early 20th century Southern California. They produced works of painting, graphic design, and fashion, as well as architectural collaborations, including several with Irving Gill.
