San Diego artist Steve Gibson shows abstract paintings and drawings from the past seven years. His work draws upon his stream of consciousness and personal experiences, past and present and his methodology includes abstraction, pattern, form, narration, and poetic references. A graduate of the MFA program at The School of The Art Institute of Chicago, Steve has worked for the past forty-five years as a studio artist in San Diego. He has shown in over 100 exhibitions both nationally and internationally, most recently at Point Loma Nazarene University’s Keller Gallery, San Diego.
