Jurors were Hugh Davies, Director of the Museum of Contemporary Art, San Diego; and Mark Quint, Quint Gallery, La Jolla. First prize was awarded to Perry Vasquez for his 1991 oil on canvas The Jaw Ants. Second place was awarded to Belinda DiLeo for her oil painting, The Room Upstairs, and third place was awarded to A. Wasil for his bronze sculpture, The Meeting, from the Rhino-Eros series. Artists included in the exhibition were James Aitchison, Donna Baird, Dorris Bittar, Althea Brimm, John Brodie, Erik C. Brown, Dan Camp, Kraig Cavanaugh, Peter Geise, Nancy Owens Renner, Cecilia Stanford, and Noel Vietor.
