Women of the Book: Jewish Artists, Jewish Themes

In conjunction with the Gotthelf Gallery, Lawrence Family Jewish Community Center, JACOBS FAMILY CAMPUS, the Athenaeum hosted this exhibition of artists’ books by Jewish women artists, which included work of 90 women from Australia, New Zealand, North America, England, Israel, Italy and South Africa. Artists exhibiting were: Melinda S. Altshuler, Lynne Avadenka, Jo-Ann Brody, Roseann Chasman, Evelyn Eller, Diane FIne, Rose-Lynn Fisher, Faiya Fredman, Ruth Ginsberg-Place, Sylvia Glass, Gloria Helfgott, Sandra jackman, Elaine Langerman, Stephanie B. Later, Paula Levine, Judith Margolis, Kathi Martin, Laurel Paley, Io Palmer, Eve-Lynn Ratoff, Linda Rubinstein, Claire J. Satin, Joyce Cutler-Shaw, Genie Shenk, Franca Sonnino, Leah Sosewitz, Ruth Wallen and Gayle Wimmer.
