In conjunction with the La Jolla Historical Society and their 6th annual Garden Tour, the Athenaeum displayed garden paintings in the Rotunda by artists Susan Flanders, Jane Fletcher, Suzanne Geller, Rodger Heglar, Sharon Hinckley, Georgeanna Lipe, Shirley Maier, Kathy McChesney, Valle McDougle, Dot Renshaw, Faye Richert, Gloria Skoldberg.
