Jurors Betti-Sue Hertz, Curator of Contemporary Art, San Diego Museum of Art; and Mary Beebe, Director, Stuart Collection, UCSD chose 29 San Diego county artists to exhibit from the 150 who entered. Artists exhibiting were Brandon Ankenbrandt, Levi J. Casias (2nd place), Larry Caveny, Victor Christ, Robert R. Ecker, Dax Estaniel, Peter J. Geise, Steve Gibson, Diane Hattula, Amy Hyde (3rd place), Carol Lindemulder, Gregory Maier, David Messick, James Nocito, James Soe Nyun, Matthew Offenbacher, Susan Osborn, Mick Phelan (1st place), Sara Rosenbluth, Sibyl Rubottom & Jim Machacek, Francis Schanberger, Timothy L.
