Art for Children’s Hospital Holiday Exhibition

The Athenaeum presented the sixth exhibition of original artwork by children ages 3 to 18 in this collaborative project between the Athenaeum and the Children’s Hospital Auxiliary/La Jolla. During the past summer, patients from Children’s Hospital and their siblings participated in a special painting workshop taught by Olya Losina, a faculty member of the Athenaeum School of the Arts. This year, the children were given the task of focusing on winter scenes, in anticipation of the November/December exhibition, and to create seasonal greeting cards out of the artwork, as well.
