The paintings, drawings, sculpture, and graphics representing Guerrero’s “take on Beatnik/Bohemian culture” were created over a three-decade period. They respond to places where Guerrero, and the Beat generation writers, lived and/or visited, including San Francisco, Mexico, Morocco, and Peru. The renowned San Diego artist received a BFA from the Chouinard Art Institute and lectures in the Department of Visual Arts at University of California, San Diego.
